Asian airline Cathay Pacific service is growing in Europe, and the airline has announced it will offer for the first time, flights between Hong Kong and Barcelona.


According to reports, approximately 140,000 passengers flew between Hong Kong and Spain, with Cathay Pacific being the second largest operator of this route. The Hong Kong โ€“ Barcelona market had an annual flow of 62,000 O&D passengers โ€“ bigger than the Hong Kong โ€“ Madrid route which flew around 54,000 O&D passengers.

This seasonal route is expected to continue through to October 27, 2017.
