Aeromexico reports December traffic

Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. today reported December 2016 operational results.

• Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 762 thousand passengers in December, a 6.6% year-on-year increase. International passenger numbers increased by 8.4% while domestic passenger numbers increased by 5.6%.

• Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased by 11.9%, year-on-year. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased by 10.0% year-on-year.

• Aeromexico’s December load factor was 80.5%, an increase of 1.3 p.p. compared to the same period of 2015. Aeromexico´s 2016 load factor was 80.3%, an increase of 0.6 p.p. compared to 2015.
