Seatrade Cruise Global, the leading annual global business-to-business event in the cruise industry, announces the full 2017 Conference program is now available on the official website. This year’s program will provide a platform to discuss topics and issues in cruising led by top executives, industry experts and thought-leaders. The 2017 program includes 20+ panels scheduled over four-days, 13 March through 16 March, including the innovative new Seatrade Cruise Global Safety and Security Symposium.

“As the cruise industry’s premier global event, the 2017 conference program is one that has been adapted and customized in response to attendees’ feedback over the years,” shares Robyn Duda, Portfolio Director for Seatrade Cruise Global. “This year’s program will be our most innovative and informative to date, and I look forward to welcoming everyone to Fort Lauderdale this March.”

Kicking off with Creating the Perfect Shorex Combination on Monday 13 March, attendees will hear how cruise lines, tour operators, shore excursion providers and destinations work together to satisfy guests’ needs and maximize experiences for the wide-spectrum of today’s modern cruiser. Operators will share experiences and different regional trends, from preferences of the Asian market cruiser shore side to delivering cultural experiences with desired authenticity.

Tuesday 14 March, always the most-anticipated day at Seatrade Cruise Global, will begin with the 2017 State of the Global Cruise Industry keynote showcasing the CEOs of the world’s largest cruise lines as they discuss growing capacity demand, destinations for deployment as well as geo-political challenges and technology advances. A new CruiseTalks feature will focus on key topics affecting the industry given by these leading executives.

Featuring six different panels throughout Tuesday, a new Design and Interiors Over Land and Sea panel will bring together both hotel and marine interior designers’ concepts to explore what is trending on land and at sea. The hot topic of designing cruise ships specifically for the Asian market will be a focus, fully engaging attendees. An additional panel of attendees will have great interest in the Energy Consumption and Alternative Fuels. Experts from the industry will cover cruise air emissions as well as energy efficiency and prospects for future fuel alternatives.

Wednesday 15 March features a full day of programming and opportunities to explore the Floridian Ballroom of the Broward Fort Lauderdale Convention Center dedicated to the Seatrade Cruise Global Safety & Security Symposium. Launched on Tuesday at this year’s show, it will serve as a focal point for specialized professionals as well as all conference attendees. A symposium titled The Future of Life Saving Apparatus (LSA) will showcase LSA technology, continued advances as well as training. Another highlight for Wednesday’s programming is the Who’s Building; Who’s Refurbishing, Where, Why and What?. Seatrade Cruise Global is where many of the cruise industry’s biggest deals are done, and this session will highlight newbuilds as well as how lines refurbish existing vessels to maximize the guest experience and ship performance.

The final day of Seatrade Cruise Global 2017, Thursday 16 March, will feature two of the trending topics in the cruise world. Polar Cruise Safety and The Wellness Trend will feature leading experts and cap off Seatrade Cruise Global’s most comprehensive program to date.
