Royal Caribbean President’s Cruise arrives in Puerto Rico

SAM JUAN, Puerto Rico – Royal Caribbean’s President and CEO, along with executives and participants of President’s Cruise, arrived to Pier 3 in San Juan.

SAM JUAN, Puerto Rico – Royal Caribbean’s President and CEO, along with executives and participants of President’s Cruise, arrived to Pier 3 in San Juan. This cruise offers executive members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor Society an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a diverse program of events and special amenities.


Allure of the Seas extended its port stay until 2 a.m. to offer passengers additional opportunities to explore the Island. Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) Executive Director Ingrid I. Rivera Rocafort stated, “Our cruise ship industry continues to strengthen and we are thankful to the directors of Royal Caribbean for selecting San Juan as part of the President’s Cruise itinerary.”

Port Authority Executive Director Ingrid Colberg Rodríguez expressed her excitement on the arrival of President’s Cruise, “Puerto Rico was selected after a competitive process across a diverse range of ports from the Caribbean, making this such a special visit. Since the Port Authority and Puerto Rico Tourism Company joined forces to bring more cruise ships to the Island, we celebrate the arrival of the President’s Cruise as a result of our efforts and consistent push for economic developments of our port facilities.”

During the welcoming ceremony tourists were provided information about holiday travel to encourage them to enjoy the Island during the winter months. “Puerto Rico is an ideal place to celebrate with family, especially during the holiday season since we are known around the world to have extended celebration period,” said Rivera Rocafort. “We hope travelers enjoy their stay on the Island and we encourage them to visit again to experience our traditions and five-star offerings.”
