John Vanderslice, Global Head Luxury & Lifestyle Brands, Hilton Worldwide, will be opening keynote on Monday followed by leading figures in the luxury hospitality industry, talking about guest experience, safety in the new age of travel, technology innovations and more. Read the full agenda here.


Carina Svenson, Global Brand Director of Quorvus Collection, Kristie Goshow, Senior Vice President, Viceroy Hotel Group, and Peter Shaindlin, Halekulani Hotels Collection are talking about key issues affecting the hotel industry in loyalty, evolving expectations in experience and the new definition of luxury.

Mathew Evins, CEO & Chairman of Evins Communications and Shane Green, Founder SGEi and Host of TV’s Resort Rescue will be hosting the event located at the Gaylord Resort & Conference Center in Washington DC. Evins will also be presenting a session titled “If Crisis is the new normal, how do we deal with it?” and Green will be talking about “‘Guest experience and the importance of culture.”

Gensler Principals, Tom Lindblom and Barbara Bouza will be presenting on “Design for balance โ€“ luxury travel and wellness,” exploring the need to create places and experiences that encourage a sense of balance in our guest’s life, focusing on the three stages of travel โ€“ the journey, the destination and the memory.

Rohit Verma, Executive Director of Cornell’s Institute for Healthy Futures and James Geneau, Director of Marketing for Benbria will discuss exclusive findings from collaborative research conducted during the first half of 2016 in a session titled “Customer Engagement and Technology in the Luxury Hotel Industry.”

Steven DeLuca, SVP/Publisher, Departures and Centurion, will host a session titled, “What is the high net worth/ultra-high net worth guest spending on luxury hospitality and what are they expecting โ€“ statistics and trends” on the Monday afternoon.
