MONTREAL, Canada – The Société internationale d’arboriculture Québec (SIAQ) will be holding the 20th anniversary edition of the Quebec Tree Climbing Championship (Championnat des élagueurs du Québec) at the Centre de la Nature de Laval from September 23rd to 25th in Laval, QC .


Citizens are invited to attend this free event. This competition is open to the public to showcase over 25 tree care professionals conducting various events and challenges in tree climbing. The champion of this event will be qualified to compete at the International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC). This year’s competition will kick off a week of activities for the tree care industry continuing with the Canadian Urban Forest Conference (CUFC) at the Sheraton Hotel in Laval from September 26rd to 29th.
An exciting event for all

In addition to the competition, several free activities will be offered including educational seminars, kids’ climb, guided tour of the park, exhibitor booths and much more!

The Quebec Tree Climbing Championship will take place in the City of Laval’s largest urban park thanks to the support of the City of Laval and the Centre formation horticole de Laval. The Centre de la Nature de Laval is located at 901, Avenue du Parc in the district of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul.
