BANGKOK, Thailand – The flag carrier airline of Thailand, Thai Airways International (THAI) announced today that it has revised planned Airbus A350-900XWB debut to Melbourne, that was scheduled to commence on September 16, 2016.


The Star Alliance member had hoped to begin A350 flights to Melbourne on September 16, but the airline’s spokesperson said that โ€œadditional inspections and requirements from Australian authorities” are needed before the new jet can begin flying in Australian skies.

According to the airline’s update, the Airbus A350-900XWB service to Melbourne will commence on September 24, 2016.
