ARLINGTON, VA – Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), the premier driver of intelligence and commerce in the air travel industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric J Barger as the companyโ€™s vice president and chief human resources officer.

As a member of ARCโ€™s executive team, Barger will spearhead the companyโ€™s strategy for cultural change and help advance its employee talent through training and professional development. Barger, who begins his tenure today, came to ARC from Laureate Education.

Barger began his career at Discovery Communications as manager of talent strategy and organizational development. He then moved to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority as its talent acquisition and organizational development director. Barger also led talent management and acquisition efforts at Constellation Energy, McCormick & Company and Agora Publishing. At Laureate Education he served as vice president of talent management, leading a team of professionals in pursuit of filling more than 2,300 roles annually and meeting the development needs of all employees.

Barger holds a bachelorโ€™s degree in psychology from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He also earned a doctorate and masterโ€™s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from George Mason University.
