Vitrolles is a charming little French tourist region, and it is turning into a burning inferno.

Local authorities are currently evacuating 10,000 people from the region after a forest fire burned about 1,800 acres.

Yet many people do not know Vitrolles only through a famous brand of Swedish design. The cultural and natural heritage of this town of about 36,000 inhabitants, situated on the seafront of the Pays d’Aix, is nevertheless very real. Far from the tumult of the city, towards the “old village”, one of the nuggets vitrollais heritage, highlighting through a learning path, to discover family.
