Delta Air Lines flight diverted due to “security concern”

PORTLAND, OR – A Delta Air Lines Flight 5733 from Seattle to San Diego, operated by Compass Airlines, was diverted to Portland International Airport Saturday morning.

PORTLAND, OR – A Delta Air Lines Flight 5733 from Seattle to San Diego, operated by Compass Airlines, was diverted to Portland International Airport Saturday morning.

The flight was diverted “out of an abundance of caution as a result of security concern,” according to Compass Airlines’ statement.


Flight 5733 was parked at PDX and passengers were escorted off the pane.

Emergency responders including K-9 units were dispatched and are searching the plane.
