NEW YORK, NY & SEOUL, South Korea – TransPerfect, the world’s largest privately held provider of language and technology solutions for global business, today announced the launch of three new language sites for Korean Air’s main passenger booking site. The addition of Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese brings the total number of supported languages to 13.

To ensure streamlined localization, management, and testing processes, Korean Air has continued its use of TransPerfect’s GlobalLink Connect for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Combining AEM’s robust functionality with GlobalLink’s workflow management and in-country review capabilities, the integration gives Adobe users like Korean Air a comprehensive platform to manage enterprise content for markets around the globe. They can initiate, automate, control, track, review, and complete all facets of the localization process without ever leaving the AEM environment.

Sung Soo Kang, General Manager of Digital Marketing at Korean Air, commented, “Southeast Asia has been our fastest-growing market over the last 24 months, and we knew it was important to listen to our customers and provide an in-language user experience. TransPerfect has been an integral partner for Korean Air, not only in helping us launch and maintain our language sites, but also in ensuring the customer experience for our passengers is easy and seamlessโ€”regardless of language. TransPerfect and the GlobalLink AEM adaptor help us accomplish this easily and efficiently without adding additional headcount, while also driving previously untapped traffic and conversion.”

“We are excited to support Korean Air as it continues to develop its global network and passenger base,” commented Liz Elting, Co-CEO at TransPerfect. “By releasing its booking site in these three new languages, Korean Air is continuing on its path as a leader in the global marketplace that is invested in its customers around the world.”

Co-CEO Phil Shawe added, “Korean Air’s strong international reputation continues to grow; we are honored to play a role in their multilingual strategy, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds as they continue to expand service and outreach in these new markets.”
