A new mobile app has taken off for the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) that can be installed on smartphones and tablets.

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) has launched its new mobile application, MyMauritius, on Monday, June 20, in the presence of Kevin Ramkeloan, the Directeur the Tourist office of Mauritius; Ashvin Sawmynaden, e-marketer of the MTPA; and members of Hospitality Plus Ltd. They explained:

MyMauritius is a mobile application that is already downloaded from Google Play and Apple Store. It has been developed by the MTPA in collaboration with Hospitality Plus Ltd. It provides a plethora of information to users such as Your First Time Here; Our Culture & Heritage, Activities; and an interactive map with things to see, things to do, restaurants, etc. The map is free to download, and once the application is installed on the userโ€™s mobile device, it is available in an offline mode.

The app is currently available in English and French, and other languages including Chinese and German will be added by September.
