Country Prepares Participation in World Tourism Fairs

Luanda – Representatives of various areas of the country’s tourism will attend a world tour starting in Lisbon (Portugal) going to the United Kingdom, between January and November this year.

According to the source, who was speaking to Angop, the Angolan team will comprise government officials, representatives of travel agencies, hotels, tourism associations and individuals.

Amaro Francisco said the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has entrusted the organisation of the Angolan caravan to Infotur which is busy working to show the country’s colours and new reality.

The programme states that the participation in fairs will start in Lisbon (January 16-20), followed by Stockholm (Sweden, January 24-27).

The Angolan delegation will also attend the Madrid International Fair, in Spain, from January 30 to February 03
