Local media reports multiple people have been shot in Coney Island around 3pm EST in the area of West 16th Street and Neptune Avenue.It is a rainy summer day on Coney Island.
At least two people were transported to Lutheran Medical Center. Their conditions are not critical.
Ceramics, sculptures, paintings and even jewelry will be on display and available for purchase Friday at Coney Island’s Summerfair.
More than 300 artists will showcase their work at the annual art fair, which is returning to Coney Island for its 49th year.
Jayne Utter, managing director of Summerfair, said they have added booths over the years to accommodate more artists. Around 20,000 people are expected to attend Summerfest this year.
