During a 3-day Wedding Fair, visitors flocked to the Seychelles stand to learn more about the destination.

The 2016 Wedding Fair in Reunion held April 8-10 contributed to re-marking Seychelles as a honeymoon destination among Reunion holidaymakers.

Newlyweds planning their honeymoon holidays stopped at Seychelles stand for the attractive promotional offers by Seychelles Tourism Board partners present at the stand.

Air Austral, Austral Voyages, and Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa’s competitive tailored packages for the wedding fair gained increasing interest among the visitors.

Air Austral was offering 524.98 euro in economy class and 970.98 euro in business class for 2 for all reservations made from April 8 to April 30, 2016. Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa gave a 40% reduction on all bookings made from April 5 to October 31, with Austral Voyages offering VIP tailored packages in various hotels on the islands.

These competitive packages helped Seychelles to secure a number of packages during the 3-day fair.

Another attraction of the Seychelles Tourism Board’s stand was the lottery draw organized during the 3-day event.

The increasing publicity of the lottery at the wedding fair triggered visitors to flock to Seychelles’ stand to try their luck for a dream holiday in Seychelles.

Aurelie Seychelles and her husband won the two tickets to Seychelles sponsored by Air Austral, three nights on half-board offered by Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa and Austral Voyages and one night on half-board by Savoy Resort & Spa and Austral Voyages.

Couples who will take their vows in December 2016, were at the Seychelles stand to prepare their honeymoons.

During the 3-day fair, the Seychelles Tourism Board recorded more than a hundred visitors at the stand, driven by the lottery draw and the competitive offers.

The Seychelles Tourism stand also gained visibility with the press which turned out at the stand to conduct interviews about the destination.

Altitude Voyages, one of the Reunion Travel agents present at the Wedding Fair, was also offering packages to the Seychelles.

During a red carpet event hosted by the organizer of wedding fair at Reunion “Parc exposition” on the first day of the fair, Seychelles was asked to take the stand alongside the Wedding Fair organizer and key partners.

The highlight of the evening was the presenting of key representatives of companies and organizations: Reunion’s MICE segment market.
