ORLANDO, FL – Australian-born singer-songwriter Cody Simpson came face-to-face with his new wax figure in Orlando, FL. Simpson was surrounded by a group of fans, who entered a contest to win the chance for a meet-and-greet with the star, as he unveiled the figure.

Simpson met with Madame Tussauds artists where more than 300 precise measurements of his head and body were taken to create a perfect replica of the star. He also provided artists with clothing and accessories for his figure. The artists were so detailed they even replicated a tear in one of his shoes and copied the graffiti art on Simpson’s guitar.

“This is an astounding honor and momentous event that has far surpassed anything I’d envisioned for myself growing up,” said Simpson as he spoke to fans at the unveiling event. “It’s all thanks to you that these experiences have become reality. I’m stoked beyond words!”
