FRANKFURT, Germany – Has your laptop or other device lost its charge but you’ve forgotten the cable? Not a problem at Frankfurt Airport.

FRANKFURT, Germany – Has your laptop or other device lost its charge but you’ve forgotten the cable? Not a problem at Frankfurt Airport.

Do you need a quiet place to quickly check your email before taking off? Nothing could be easier. Now passengers can find elegant, practical new bistro-style workbenches with bar stools in almost all gate areas. They feature a variety of power outlets and USB ports, as well as inductive power stations for charging compatible smartphones and other electronic devices without the need for a cable. Thanks to free Wi-Fi, you can also enjoy unlimited Internet access in the terminals. Under each table you’ll even find a practical shelf and hooks for hanging bags. Many of the workbenches are located along the glazed facades, thus ensuring pleasant daylight for working or surfing the Web and a fascinating view of the apron and airfield.

The new workbenches are yet another part of the “Great to have you here!” service quality program with which the airport’s operator, Fraport, is continuously working to improve the customer experience at Germany’s largest aviation hub. Other examples are version 3.0 of the Frankfurt Airport App and free 24-hour Wi-Fi for everyone. You’ll find more information on the many services offered at Frankfurt Airport on its website and its Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
