US Travel welcomes Samantha Brown as Travel Ambassador

WASHINGTON, DC – The US Travel Association on Tuesday announced travel expert and Travel Channel host Samantha Brown shall serve as an ambassador for the organization to the travel industry. Samantha Brown will lend her voice and talent to amplify US Travel’s signature events and programs, including National Travel and Tourism Week, an annual celebration to champion the power of the industry and Project: Time Off, an initiative to win back America’s Lost Week of vacation.

“Travel has provided me with the best job in the world,” said Samantha Brown. “And US Travel plays such a pivotal role in our ability to travel. I’m elated to serve as an ambassador to the industry that has meant so much to me and touches so many lives on a daily basis.”

Brown’s first endeavor is an endorsement of Travel ’16 for this year’s presidential election, a promotion for National Travel and Tourism Week 2016. Brown will also join Project: Time Off as a featured speaker at the Upside of Downtime Forum later this year.
