ibtm america 2016, taking place from June 15-17 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, is partnering with DAHLIA+ to create the TECH Collective, an area located within the Central Hub that will offer innovative startups exhibiting at ibtm america 2016 the opportunity to showcase their products and services in person to all attending Hosted Buyers.

Jaime McAuley, Event Director, ibtm america commented, โ€œThe Central Hub is one of the busiest and most popular areas on the show floor, where exhibitors and Hosted Buyers can attend education sessions on current topics in the world of technology and digital marketing, find out more about the ibtm events app, and network with industry peers. This year we have decided to add even more excitement with the TECH Collective, a special area where exhibitors can conduct live demonstrations of their products in front of Hosted Buyers.โ€

A select number of registered exhibitors will be chosen to participate based on their ability to provide technology solutions that address the latest trends and challenges within the meetings and events industry. Chosen exhibitors will be provided with pods located within the TECH Collective and able to conduct demos throughout ibtm america 2016 at designated times. The focus of the TECH Collective will be on emerging tech companies providing innovative inventions addressing the management of events and attendee engagement.

Jaime McAuley, Event Director, ibtm america continued, โ€œTechnology is one of the fastest growing sectors within the meetings and events industry and this means that meeting professionals are always playing catch up. This year we wanted to shine a spotlight on the top start-up tech companies attending our event and provide them with an opportunity to show the industry what they can do in person. The TECH Collective will provide a great educational platform for everyone to learn about the latest technology solutions as well as allow our Hosted Buyers to touch, feel and play with potential business partners products. We are lucky to be working with such a great partner, DAHLIA+ who is really helping us make this concept come alive.โ€

Dahlia El Gazzar, Tech Evangelist, DAHLIA+, commented, โ€œI commend ibtm america for giving the space and time within their event to focus on emerging tech and digital marketing solutions to serve the needs of not only their Hosted Buyers, but also to encompass the great talent that these startups are bringing to our industry. We strive to bridge the gap between all these new solutions and showcase how event professionals can capitalize on implementing these โ€˜newโ€™ ways of doing great events.โ€™

In addition to the TECH Collective, the Central Hub will feature education sessions on hot topics in technology led by thought leaders within the meetings and events industry, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) areas that will resonate with current trends within the industry.
