LAM DONG, Vietnam — A rescue team yesterday found the bodies of three foreign tourists in waters below the Datanla Falls site in Da Lat City, according to police.

Officials from Lam Dong Province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that two females and one male foreign tourist were involved in an accident while taking part in an expedition tour of the falls.

Vo Anh Tan, deputy general director of Da Lat Tourist Company, said the British tourists had bought tickets from Dam Me Company, which organized the tour illegally and did not give them safety equipment.

A local tour guide said that local tourists rarely booked expedition tours of the site.
