SANTA MONICA, CA – Santa Monica’s Shore Hotel is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Martinez as director of human resources to its executive team. Martinez brings more than 15 years of customer service and hospitality industry experience and will oversee human resources at the Santa Monica property.

Martinez brings an extensive knowledge of human resources and customer service to her new role, having worked at impressive brands in the California Market. She was previously director of human resources for Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood and has held varying people services positions at Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, and Erwin Hotel in Venice Beach. Martinez began her career in hospitality at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim as front desk supervisor and progressed through a number of key roles during her nine years at the resort.
