Delhi Tourism entices tourists with blooming fun

The 29th Garden Tourism Festival 2016 opened in New Delhi, India, today, February 19, at the Garden of Five Senses, near the historic Qutab Minar.

The 29th Garden Tourism Festival 2016 opened in New Delhi, India, today, February 19, at the Garden of Five Senses, near the historic Qutab Minar. Delhi Tourism organizes this festival every year to entice tourists to come and celebrate the flowers in bloom and enjoy the season at its best at one of the most beautiful garden of Delhi.

The garden is spread over 22 acres, and the festival is organized by Delhi Tourism. The theme this year is Garden for Environment and Health.

The festival is on for three days, until February 21, with some of the event highlights including display and gardening competitions; floral arrangements; talks on horticulture and the environment; cultural programs; a food court, garden bazar; and the selling of seeds, plants, and gardening equipment.
