Sultan Kösen, who, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, stands taller than any living man at 8 feet and 3 inches (251 cm), has arrived in Seychelles in connection with the visiting Magic Circus of Samoa.

A VIP welcome and customized coach with plenty of legroom are among the preparations organized by Mason’s Travel, as Seychelles welcomes the world’s tallest man to its shores.

For Kösen’s visit, Mason’s Travel has altered one of its coaches, removing seats to allow extra legroom and a much more comfortable experience whenever traveling around the islands.

Mason’s is also organizing a special sunset cruise aboard its catamaran Anahita for the entire circus troupe, as a thank you gesture to the performers and organizers.

The Magic Circus of Samoa first came to Seychelles in 2013, for a series of shows that had to be extended due to popular demand.

“Its popularity during the first visit clearly showed how much of a landmark entertainment event this circus is for Seychelles,” Nicole St Ange, Mason’s PR, Branding & Communications Manager, said. “As one of the country’s leading tourism operators, we are proud to be rolling out the welcome mat for Mr. Kösen and the entire troupe, with the genuine Seychellois hospitality that we’re known for.”

The circus’ performances are being held at Freedom Square in the Seychelles capital of Victoria, from February 19 to 20.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) .
