Joerg Roterberg has been appointed as the new General Manager of Raffles Praslin Resort in the Seychelles. Last week, Mr. Roterberg paid a courtesy call on Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, at his ESPACE Building offices. Also present at the meeting were Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism, and Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Ministry of Tourism to be updated with the plans of the resort’s new GM and for Minister St.Ange and his senior management to apprise Mr. Roterberg on the Ministry’s own plans for Seychelles tourism.

“We found the new General Manager receptive of our ideas for everyone to work together and for the international chain to be present with the Tourism Board at tourism trade fairs. This remains the best way for Seychelles to remain visible in the marketplace and in so doing relevant as a tourism destination,” said Minister St.Ange as he welcome Mr. Roterberg to Seychelles.
