A 7.1 earthquake was measured in the US state of Alaska early Sunday morning at 1:30 am.

There are no immediate reports of injuries casualties in the southern region of the state where the earthquake stuck. According to tweets, long and strong shaking was felt in West Anchorage and power outages were reported.
