One lucky Valentine’s couple will fly to Abu Dhabi on Etihad

Etihad Airways, presently flying four times a week between Abu Dhabi and Entebbe, has partnered with Kampala’s leading FM station, Capital FM 91.3, to run a Valentine’s competition where a lucky couple will be able to spend a weekend in the Gulf Emirate at the Yas Island Rotana Hotel.

With Valentine’s Day just three weeks away, the competition will run until February 3 when a winner from among the anticipated tens of thousands of participants will be drawn.

Listeners just have to tune in to Capital FM’s afternoon drive show program which takes place daily between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm and answer trivia questions about Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi to stand a chance of winning the prize of two air tickets and a complimentary stay at the Yas Island Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi from February 12-15.

“As part of our brand promise of taking Abu Dhabi to the world, we are delighted to give Ugandans an opportunity to experience Abu Dhabi with their loved ones at this special time of year,” said Toyin Alaran, Etihad Airways’ General Manager, Uganda, when announcing the deal.

Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s largest and increasingly popular leisure destinations with a wide variety of attractions to suit all tastes. The Yas Island Rotana Hotel is just a few minutes away from a number of local attractions including the Yas Marina Circuit, where the Etihad Airways Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place; the Yas Links Golf Club; the Yas Marina; Ferrari World Abu Dhabi; Yas Waterworld; and Yas Beach.

Fingers crossed it is for those wanting to win, and more fingers crossed that the eventual winners have sufficient time to secure travel documents if they haven’t got a passport yet. After that it is Abu Dhabi here we come for the lucky couple.
