“Miss Seychelles…another world” 2015 is representing her mid-ocean islands at the 65th Miss World beauty pageant in China.

The grand final of the pageant will be held on December 19 at the Beauty Crown Grand Theatre.

Miss Freminot left Seychelles in late November and she has been touring China, taking part in several activities.

There are five challenge events that take place in the run up to the final ̶ beauty with a purpose, multimedia, sports, talent and top model.

These challenge events give the contestants the chance to win important points.

Miss Namibia Steffi Van Wyk was the winner of the Miss World Sports Challenge event, after leading in the shuttle runs, long jump, and 100 m sprint categories.

The third place winner was Miss Guam Aria Perez-Theisen followed by Miss Kazakhstan Regina Vandysheva and in fifth place Alofa Latafale Auva’a from Samoa.

Over 110 contestants from all over the world are taking part in this international pageant. Miss Freminot was crowned Miss Seychelles…another world 2015 on May 30 at the Constance Ephelia Resort and has touched many with her beauty with a purpose project.

Just before she left the country to take part in the Miss World pageant, Miss Freminot officially opened the “Playground for Hope” at the country’s main prison at Montagne Posée. The playground is part of her beauty with a purpose project which she will be presenting at the international pageant.

The playground will give children whose parents are convicts to spend quality time in a more conducive environment.
