TV Plus Madagascar has a very popular reality show called Kopi Kolé, and 30 million people are tuning in to watch every time it airs. One of the show’s winners was recently in Seychelles enjoying a prize he received from the show.

Seychelles will be featured in one of Madagascar’s most popular televised shows, Kopi Kolé. With more than 30,000,000 viewers, the Kopi Kolé reality show is staged and broadcast on TV Plus Madagascar and has attracted more than 5,000 candidates in this year’s third edition.

From the month of June to September, the candidates battled on TV Plus Madagascar to secure a place in the grand finale with only 5 candidates remaining in the race. Nomenjanahary Samilahy Joseph, one of the winners of the Kopi Kolé reality show, who walked away with a fabulous trip to Seychelles, was recently in the country.

Winner of the People’s Choice Awards, Nomenjanahary Samilahy Joseph imitated Koike, a native singer from the south of Madagascar, interpreting “Hiezaka,” one of Koike’s famous songs.

From December 2-6, Hobiniaina Andriamparany; Miora Roger, presentor of Kopi Kolé; a cameraman; and a sound man took Nomenjanahary Samilahy Joseph to the island’s most amazing spots on Mahe and Praslin and filmed his entire journey. He also had some fascinating encounters with the country’s highest government officials, including Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture, and Nathalie Didon, Deputy Chief Executive of Seychelles Tourism Board.

On the first day of their trip in Seychelles, TV Plus Madagascar was welcomed in the minister’s office for a courtesy call. Hobiniaina Andriamparany Miora Roger said, “It is the first time that the winner of the show is welcomed by a high government official.” She was moved by the welcome and thanked the Seychelles Tourism Board for assisting TV Plus Madagascar and the winner while they were in Seychelles.

Minister St.Ange welcomed the group in Seychelles, saying the “islands have so much to offer visitors.” Shots of Nomenjanahary Samilahy Joseph’s visit in Seychelles will be broadcast in the fourth edition of the Kopi Kolé reality show scheduled for 2016. Kopi Kolé can also be viewed on You Tube, Canal Plus, and Canal Sat in the Indian Ocean and is a clear sign that the concept of the Vanilla Islands is bringing the islands more together.
