Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa has added 15 new grand oceanview pool villas and a new two-bedroom presidential pool villas to its premises.

Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa has added 15 new grand oceanview pool villas and a new two-bedroom presidential pool villas to its premises.

The opening of these villas was held yesterday afternoon in the presidential villa in the presence of the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange; British High Commissioner Caron Röhsler; Principal Secretary for Tourism Anne Lafortune; trade partners; the Hilton Worldwide Area President Europe, Middle East & Africa, Simon Vincent; and President Operations Middle East & Africa, Rudi Jagersbacher. Also present were the owner of Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa Lars Petre.

An added touch to this auspicious occasion was the flypast from the ZilAir helicopter, carrying a Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa banner.

Speaking before the official ribbon-cutting, Minister St.Ange congratulated the owner and directors of Hilton Hotels and of the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa for investing in the Seychelles tourism industry.

“Your continued investment is a clear sign that our tourism industry is working. If it was not working, this new addition would not have become a reality today, thus this proves that Seychelles must be doing something right if you are investing,” Minister Alain St.Ange said.

The Minister went on to speak about the grand overview pool villas as a good investment for an establishment which blends so well with the surrounding environment.

“The opening of this extension of your resort is part of the Seychelles Brand of tourism, it suits what we are, and it suits what we have. Hilton Seychelles Hotels feels part of us, and this is helping you with its success,” the Minister said.

“I thank you for being close partners to the government and to Seychelles. We value your presence in our tourism industry, and we affirm our support in helping you to keep on succeeding,” said Minister St.Ange who added that the successes of the Seychelles tourism industry does not happen by itself, but is achieved because the islands have dedicated trade partners who work with the government to protect and to defend the industry.

The Cluster General Manager of Hilton Seychelles Hotels, Claus Stenier, said the new villas will provide an exciting new facet to the Northolme offering.

Mr. Vincent said the new villas will continue to deliver the exceptional service that characterizes Northolme, and the Hilton brand, creating special memories for guests to last a lifetime.

On his part, Mr. Jagersbacher said to be part of this landmark occasion in Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa’s history is a moment of great pride, adding that it is a further example of the strength of the Hilton Worldwide brand and the values that the company stands for.

Mr. Petre said it is an honor to be the owner of this outstanding resort, with its rich history and heritage which is further enhanced by the management partner Hilton Worldwide.

From the design, location, unparalleled views, and ambience, I am sure that these new villas will deliver one of the best pool villa experiences in the Indian Ocean, he added.
