Popular restaurant reopens its doors to both Seychellois and tourists

The ideally-located La Plage restaurant located right on the beach at Beau Vallon has reopened its doors to members of the public, now that renovation on the building has been completed.

The ideally-located La Plage restaurant located right on the beach at Beau Vallon has reopened its doors to members of the public, now that renovation on the building has been completed.

The restaurant was officially opened last Saturday by the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Alain St.Ange, and by Alfred Fourcroy, the With a breathtaking view of the popular Beau Vallon beach and its owner of the restaurant, in the presence of many representatives from the tourism industry.

During the opening ceremony, those present had the chance to enjoy a variety of melt-in-your mouth hors dโ€™oeuvres, giving a taste of the scrumptious menu offered at La Plage.

Seafood of the Seychelles is surely on the menu card, but the dishes have an added touch to them ฬถ the chefโ€™s secret is never revealed but will leave a lasting taste that will get visitors to make their way back to this simple but yet chic place offering quality and delectable meals.

A strong dedicated team of 16, with Pat Monthy as its executive chef, ensures that La Plage remains to a high standard and services offered are of good quality.

The restaurant can cater to over 100 people, having a choice of sitting inside or outside to enjoy their meals.

Minister St.Ange congraluted Mr. Fourcroy and his team on this auspicious occasion.

He thanked Mr. Fourcroy for investing in the tourism industry of Seychelles and reassured him of the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture and the Seychelles Tourism Board.

Mr. Fourcroy said he is happy that the restaurant has been re-opened, adding that the team worked hard to ensure that La Plage reopened.
