TOULOUSE, France – With a much-anticipated handover, Finnair became Europe’s first airline to take delivery of Airbus’ A350 XWB the highly efficient all-new member of its market-leading widebody product line.

Finnair is a long-standing Airbus customer and was the first airline to select the A350 XWB making the jetliner type the backbone of its long-haul services as it flies into the future.

Join Airbus and Finnair to relive the festive ceremony in Toulouse, France that marked this historic occasion. “The A350 XWB is the future of flying,” said Finnair CEO Pekka Vauramo. “This is the moment we have been waiting for.”
