Another senior official confirms presence at FESTURIS- Tourism Fair Gramado. On Friday, the 9th, the Minister of Civil Aviation, Eliseu Padilha, met with the director of the event, Marta Rossi, and confirmed that he will be in Gramado for the Opening Ceremony, along with the Minister of Tourism Henrique Alves.

Also attending the important meeting: Kelh Danilo Martins, president of ABAV, Rita Vasconcelos, director of ABAV, Viviane Dutra, director of Institutional Relations of the Tourism Department, Councilman John Teixeira, president of Gramado PMDB and parliamentary aide Anderson Boeira.

In addition to confirming his presence at FESTURIS opening ceremony, which takes place on November 5th, the minister said he will go to the fair and stressed the importance of FESTURIS for the development of the national tourism industry.

At the meeting, the minister said that the time is opportune for strengthening domestic tourism. “The moment requires caution, but economic recovery will happen in 2017,” emphasized Padilha.

“It was a productive meeting where we presented the event and were very pleased with the confirmation of the participation of the minister at the event in Gramado. Having the presence of the Minister of Civil Aviation and the Minister of Tourism is important for the fair and for all trade participants, “said the director of the fair, Marta Rossi.

FESTURIS 2015 – With estimated growth this year, FESTURIS takes place November 5-8 and projects the presence of at least 14,000 tourism professionals circulating in the market, at Sierra Park in Gramado. Considered the biggest event in prospecting and generating business in the tourism sector in Latin America, FESTURIS has already confirmed the participation of at least 65 international destinations.
