On a hiking trip into Lake Waikaremoana in New Zealand, French tourists captured their fall when a suspension bridge collapsed while they were crossing.

The YouTube video shows the tourists walking across the 65-meter Hopu ruahine bridge, when cables snapped, sending them hurtling down into the lake 8 meters below.

Of the four tourists, three were tossed into the lake as the fourth person was able to hold onto the cable that remained. Remarkably, all of them came out of the incident with nothing more than a few scratches and bruises.
