A day-long plenary session was organized by the Department of Tourism, government of Jharkhand in association with the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata, on World Tourism Day (September 27) at Ranch

A day-long plenary session was organized by the Department of Tourism, government of Jharkhand in association with the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata, on World Tourism Day (September 27) at Ranchi. Mr. Jyoti Kapur, President, was invited to participate as a speaker at the event.

The session was inaugurated by Shri Raghubir Das, Honorable Chief Minister of Jharkhand, and Shri Amar Kumar Bauri, Tourism Minister of Jharkhand, was the guest of honor. The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) participated in the plenary session “Unexplored Jharkhand.”

Mr. Jyoti Kapur moderated part I of the session, a discussion on “Millions of tourists and millions of opportunities.” The discussion was on the development of opportunities in various sectors of tourism in Jharkhand, with eminent panelists including Mrs. Ashiwini Lala, Mrs. India and Mrs. Asia 2014-15 with the tourism portfolio for a year, and Mr. Padma Shri Ashok Bhagat, Secretary, Vikas Bharati.
