Matthias Fekl, the Secretary of State of France responsible for Foreign Trade, Tourism and French Nationals Abroad met with Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture at the Tourism Trade Fair in Paris.
Secretary of State Fekl spoke about the beauty of the Seychelles as he stood in front of the imposing stand with great pictures put up by the island’s Tourism Board for this year’s Top Resa Tourism Trade Fair. Accompanying the Secretary of State at this short meeting was Jean-Pierre Mas, the President of SNAV, the grouping of the French Tour Operators.
This was the second meeting between Secretary of State Fekl and Minister St.Ange as the two tourism leaders had also met last year during Top Resa 2014.
Seychelles is this year represented at the Top Resa Tourism Trade Fair by an important delegation of private sector trade of the islands who are trying to claim their fair share of the French Tourism market. The islands now has once again a direct non-stop flight operated three times a week by Air Seychelles. This service had been requested by the local tourism trade and by their tour operator partners in France and the service was a point of discussion between Secretary of State of France Matthias Fekl and Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles.
