CHENGDU, China – Dr. Liao Ming (Principal of Marketing Science of Facebook in APAC), Yu Dunde (CEO of Tuniu) and Hao Kangli (Director-General of the Tourism Administration of Sichuan Province) delivered keynote speeches about the Winning Ways of Socialized Media and Big Data Marketing, Innovation Way of Online Travel and “Internet + Tourism” or “Tourism + Internet” at the 4th Global Travel E-commerce Conference held in China.
The conference was themed “Simplicity Powering Internet+” and was held in the City of Dujiangyan from September 21 to 23, 2015. About 400 guests from over 70 famous tourism website companies such as Google, Facebook, Phocuswright, agoda, Travelzoo, Baidu, Ctrip, Tuniu, LY, Qunar, Alitrip and Lvmama, and the top management of network operators in the USA, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, India and Japan got together in Dujiangyan and sought for Taoism in Qingcheng Mountain.
This conference was hosted by the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government and the Tourism Administration of Sichuan Province. In this conference, focus is placed to the further discussion of the integrative development of “Internet+” and “Tourism+” based on the successful experience from the previous three conferences, and the essential cooperation of local tourism enterprises in Sichuan and well-known domestic and foreign OTAs was improved through the “Young Leader Summit” and “One on One Trade Fair.”
