Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts, the joint venture hotel management company formed to bring the Dusit International brands to the Chinese market, is pleased to announce the signing of a management agreement with Huizhou Xiyuan Tourism Investment Company Limited to manage a 350-room luxury international resort in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. The Dusit Thani Sandalwoods Resort Huizhou Shuangyue Bay, Guangdong is anticipated to open in May 2019.

Overlooking the South China Sea, the Dusit Thani Sandalwoods Resort is located at Shuangyue Bay in Huizhou City, approximately two hours from Shenzhen and the Huizhou city centre, and three hours from Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province. It is a 90-minute drive from Huizhou airport and the high-speed train station.

Strategically situated in the central Guangdong Province, Huizhou is easily accessible to the cities in the Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong. Shuangyue Bay is one of the most famous bays in Huizhou, well-known for its scenic hiking trails and beaches with pure white sand and crystal clear water. Famed for its beautiful landscapes, there are several picturesque and interesting sightseeing spots like the Huizhou West Lake (a national AAAA class scenic area), the Luofu Mountain, Dragon Valley Rafting and National Sea Turtle Reserve.

A 30-storey tower with 350 well-appointed rooms and suites, this beachfront international resort will also comprise a 1,150-square metre ballroom and 9 multi-function rooms with the latest audio-visual facilities, suitable for all events and meetings. A Thai-inspired spa will provide guests with a full range of wellness programs. Dining options at the resort will include an all-day dining restaurant, a Thai restaurant and a lobby lounge. For recreation, there will be a kids club, gymnasium and an outdoor swimming pool.

“We are delighted to introduce Dusit Thani brand which embodies the rich and traditional Thai culture to this exciting tourism destination,” said Mr Lim Boon Kwee, President of Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts. “Guests will experience the genuine warmth, respect and commitment of the team with each stay and moment at the Dusit Thani Sandalwoods Resort Huizhou Shuangyue Bay, Guangdong.”
