Tourism Minister of the DRC is in the Seychelles

HE Mr. Elvis Mutiri wa Bashara, the Minister of Tourism from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), is in the Seychelles accompanied by Mrs. Mutiri wa Bashara.

HE Mr. Elvis Mutiri wa Bashara, the Minister of Tourism from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), is in the Seychelles accompanied by Mrs. Mutiri wa Bashara. The Minister was welcomed to Seychelles as they stepped out of the Air Seychelles flight arriving from South Africa by Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, and Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism.

On Tuesday, the visiting Minister from the DRC toured Mahe Island before being joined by Minister St.Ange; PS Lafortune; PS for Culture Benjamine Rose; and Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Tourism Board, for a typical Creole lunch at Marie Antoinette Restaurant. On Wednesday, the Minister from the DRC will be on Praslin Island, and on Thursday they will be visiting La Digue Island. They are expected to see the endemic Coco de Mer forest at Fond Ferdinand when they are on Praslin.

On Thursday evening, Minister Elvis Mutiri wa Bashara will be joining Minister St.Ange and his team for a Seychelles Tourism Academy event.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) .
