At least 1,027 people were stranded in major Philippine ports Sunday morning due to bad weather brought by severe tropical storm Egay, the Philippine Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard said that as of 4 a.m., 51 vessels, 32 motor bancas and 6 rolling cargos were also stranded.

Landslide
Meanwhile, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said a landslide occurred at Km 35 and 37 at Montible-Napsan Road in Puerto Princesa City 5 p.m. Saturday.
Two families were evacuated from the area.
