Curaçao announces North Sea Jazz Festival line-up

WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao – Now in it’s sixth year, the wildly popular Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival returns to the stage this September 3-5, 2015.

WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao – Now in it’s sixth year, the wildly popular Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival returns to the stage this September 3-5, 2015. This year’s festival will play host to some of the world’s most iconic musicians, including international superstars John Legend, Enrique Iglesias, Wyclef Jean, Juanes, Lionel Richie, and Usher.

The popular festival has seen performances by such pop and jazz icons as Bruno Mars, Rod Stewart, Smokey Robinson, Alicia Keys, Prince, Sting, and Stevie Wonder. The event draws crowds from all over the world and has been praised for showcasing an eclectic mix of sounds for pop revelers and die-hard jazz fans alike.

This year’s Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival will also feature a myriad of internationally renowned artists, including Oscar D’Leon, one of the world’s leading Salsa singers, British soul singing sensation, Emeli Sandé, R&B group, The Pointer Sisters, and jazz vocalists, Gregory Porter, Charles Bradley, and Cassandra Wilson.

“We’re excited to build upon the success of past festivals and continue to welcome the leading pop, r&b, and jazz performers in the music industry to our vibrant island,” said André Rojer, the Curaçao Tourist Board’s North American Marketing Manager. “The Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival continue to put Curaçao on the map as one of the most exceptional islands in the Caribbean for events.”

Performances will take place at Curaçao’s World Trade Center in Piscadera Bay. During the day, festival attendees can take full advantage of the island’s pristine beaches, culture, and delicious cuisine to round out their vacation experience.
