TEHRAN – The 2nd international conference on investment opportunities in Iran’s tourism industry will be held at the conference hall of Milad Tower in Tehran during November 8-9.
The deputy director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Organization (CHTHO) announced here on Tuesday that 454 foreign investors from 57 countries have been invited to the event.
IRIB quoted Hamid Baqaei as saying that Iran’s tourist spots, accommodation facilities like hotels, motels, and camping places, roadside service complexes, ecotourism, handicrafts marketplaces, and restorable monuments will be proposed as topics of investment in the confab.
Mehdi Jahangiri the CHTHO’s deputy for investment and tourism programs said that the attendees are mainly from the U.S., France, Germany, India, Iraq, Ireland, Czech, and Turkey.
Foreign entities have highly welcomed the conference, he said, adding the event is a venue to represent the country’s approach towards development of domestic and foreign tourism
