MANAMA, Kingdom of Bahrain – As part of its new summer schedule, Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, is launching additional flights to and from Istanbul as of July 11 with a choice of up to 7 flights a week, available for travel through to September 12, 2015. The increased flights to/from Turkeyโ€™s largest city are catering to growing passenger numbers in light of the upcoming holiday season.

Gulf Airโ€™s A/Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Ahmed Janahi commented on the frequency increase: โ€œAs the holidays approach, we are gearing up for a busy summer season and increasing the number of convenient options available for our passengers. Giving Gulf Air passengers increased flexibility and choice in booking their summer travel to and from Istanbul is critical in light of the consistently strong two-way traffic between this historic city and Bahrain and the greater region and we are confident our 2015 summer schedule will improve our passengersโ€™ travel experience.โ€

Gulf Air operates one of the largest regional networks, with multiple daily flights to more than 10 regional cities. The national carrier also provides excellent connectivity for passengers travelling from Turkey to the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Asia.
