INDIA (eTN) – As the situation in Nepal continues to grow more grim because of the devastating earthquakes and loss of life and property, India has mounted a massive campaign to provide relief to the Himalayan country.
Indiaโs Prime Minister N. Modi is himself leading the monitoring of the relief efforts and has promised to help wipe away the tears of the suffering Nepalese people. Men and material are being rushed to the affected people.
In his Sunday radio address to the nation, Modi devoted much time referring to the great tragedy in Nepal and assured all of help.
Meanwhile, states in India have also been hit by the quake and relief efforts have been intensified.
