Today Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr visited the Germanwings crash site in the French Alps for the first time. He said: “We know the burden we have put on the people in this area, that nothing will be the same again since March 24. It will take a long time to find out what happened to [the] Germanwings plane.”
Carsten Spohr thanked the people of France, all emergency services, and said they will help victims “as long as is needed.”
He added: “it was important for us to come here to mourn the victims, to express deep sorrow at this monument.”
