The Siberian International Travel and Tourism (SITT) 2015 is due to take place on April 16-18, 2015 in Novosibirsk, Russia.

The Siberian International Travel and Tourism (SITT) 2015 is due to take place on April 16-18, 2015 in Novosibirsk, Russia. Travel companies from around the world will be in attendance to promote their latest travel packages to Russian travel agencies and operators.

Over 100 accommodation providers, transportation providers and tour operators from India, the Philippines, South Korea, Morocco, Malaysia, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Thailand, Singapore, Greece, Slovenia, Slovakia, Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will exhibit.

Leading tour operators confirmed to exhibit include: Anex Tour, Tez Tour, Pegas Touristic, Sunmar, Globus Tour, Mouzenidis Travel, Kompas, Ak-Sai Travel and many more.

Speaking about the international presence at SITT, Jitka Massolini, Sales Manager, ITE Group, comments: โ€œThere is a great number of national tourist offices among the SITT 2015 exhibitors, these include tourism boards from India, the Philippines, Tunisia, South Korea, Morocco, Malaysia, Bulgaria and Macao (China).โ€

A dedicated sector will showcase โ€œMedical Tourism.โ€ Exhibitors include: Bangkok Hospital (Thailand), Johannesbad Fashklinik AG & Co. KG (Germany), and many others.

At SITT 2015, a special focus will be directed towards internal tourism services as some Russians opt for domestic holidays. Resorts, parks and excursion centers from the regions of Krasnodar and Altay, as well as the Republic of Khakassia will be presented.

Seminars, presentations and workshops are also taking place within the SITT exhibition. A key event is the STI Workshop organized by STI Regional Information Analytical Centre. At the workshop industry experts will discuss the current issued faced by travel industry professionals.

Once again, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) will organize an accreditation system for tour agents. This year the accreditation system will, for the first time, be focused on domestic tourism. Tour agents will be awarded certificates for the quality of service provided to tourism professionals and tourists.

Members of the travel trade can register for a complimentary visitor e-ticket.
