SEATTLE, WA – Alaska Airlines CEO and President Brad Tilden announced during an address at the Boise Chamber of Commerce today that Alaska Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Boise, Idaho and Spokane, Washington, starting Aug. 24, 2015.

“Boise-Spokane is a highly requested market for us and is particularly important for business passengers in the Pacific Northwest,” said John Kirby, Alaska’s vice president of capacity planning. “Our schedule has both morning and evening departures, which are designed to allow day trips in both directions.”
Alaska offers more nonstop flights to more destinations from Boise than any other airline.

Summary of new service:

The new flight, which is just under 70 minutes, will be operated by Horizon Air for Alaska Airlines using a 76-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft. Customers flying on flights operated by Horizon can enjoy free soft drinks and Starbucks coffee, a la cart planeside baggage service, and complimentary Northwest wine and microbrews for passengers 21 years and older.
