Minister Derek Hanekom of South Africa and Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles met this week in Berlin as they led their country’s delegations to ITB.

Minister Derek Hanekom of South Africa and Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles met this week in Berlin as they led their country’s delegations to ITB. The two tourism ministers had met recently in Johannesburg, and this Berlin meeting was the opportunity to continue discussions on closer cooperation between the countries.

The South African minister used this meeting to confirm that South Africa would be represented at the April 24 Carnival in Seychelles by his Deputy Minister and other senior ministry officials. The Seychelles Minister also confirmed that his Tourism Board would continue to use coming May INDABA as the tourism trade fair in Africa to showcase itself to the world of tourism.
