Dusit International is gearing up to launch Guam’s first newly built resort since 1999, the Dusit Thani Guam.

Dusit International is gearing up to launch Guam’s first newly built resort since 1999, the Dusit Thani Guam.

Situated on pristine Tumon Bay, the resort is already the tallest building on the island – standing tall at 30 floors – and is the only one to be classified in the luxury category.

The resort will host its highly-anticipated soft opening in April with approximately half its inventory of 419 deluxe rooms and suites with views over the bay. The resort also boasts six Villa Suites, each with their own private plunge pools, exclusive gym and concierge service. One of these spectacular villas, Villa Azul, even has a 550sqm balcony perfectly suited for outdoor entertaining.

Dusit Thani Guam will also be home to the island’s most glittering events at its adjacent convention centre. Measuring approximately 1169sqm, it is the largest convention space on the island and can host up to 2,000 guests for social events, exhibitions or meetings of any size.

In yet another first, the resort will house a Devarana Spa, Dusit’s signature spa concept. Set to fully launch by the resort’s grand opening in June, residents and resort guests can indulge in the island’s only Hydrothermal therapy treatment area or choose any one of the spa’s Thai-inspired massage and wellness programs.

The variety of dining venues on offer at Dusit Thani Guam is also set to impress locals and guests alike. Four dining venues will bring the best of Thai, Italian, International and BBQ/Grill cuisine styles to the island, and each restaurant is perfectly situated in order to offer beautiful, panoramic views of the bay for guests to take in whilst they dine.

“We are very excited to launch the Dusit Thani Guam resort in April,” says Ms Erena Chan, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Dusit International. “Symbolising many firsts for the island, from its size, to its convention centre, to its Thai spa and cuisine offering, the most significant of these is that it’s the first time gracious Thai hospitality is being offered in Guam. We are looking forward to combining the best of local hospitality customs with our signature warm Thai service to offer guests an experience truly unlike any other on the island.”
