MOSCOW, Russia – According to reports, passengers are being held on board of the plane at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport because of one passenger who is suspected of having Ebola virus.

MOSCOW, Russia – According to reports, passengers are being held on board of the plane at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport because of one passenger who is suspected of having Ebola virus.

A few minutes before landing in Sheremetyevo, the captain of a flight from Paris reported said that there may be a passenger with suspected Ebola on the plane. Because of that aircraft was directed to a special parking area. Passengers are forbidden to leave it.

Medical and emergency service crews are currently at the airport to check the aircraft and its passengers for potential Ebola contamination.

There have been no outbreaks of Ebola in Russia so far.
