In India, eight people are feared dead and 25 injured after a Road Transport Corporation bus fell into a ravine in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantpur district today, Thursday.
There are at least four students among the dead, adding that there were more than 40 people in the bus.
Those seriously injured are being rushed to a hospital in Bengaluru.
The incident happened around four kilometers from Penukonda in western part of the state, where the bus was headed from Madakasira, nearly 40 km away. New roads were reportedly being laid near the accident site.
The bus fell into the gorge and turned turtle, the police said.
